Screening and Discussion of "Brené Brown: The Call to Courage"

As requested by you, our beautiful mamas in the mamas club, we will be watching this fantastic film together and growing together. My hope is that this film becomes a theme for us as we continue our journey in motherhood and in our club.

Come join us on zoom as we watch Brené Brown's Netflix Documentary "The Call to Courage" and discuss the impacts of this on us. This film is a little over an hour-long, so plan for a good 1.5 hours together tonight. We can spend the following weeks meeting discussing it as well if desired<3

As humans, it can feel terrifying and threatening to be vulnerable. It took me about a year to speak about what I was experiencing postpartum. I was plagued by shame, guilt, fear, inadequacy... you name it. I was terrified of what people may think of me and what my experiences may mean. The stigma around mental health is REAL, and I felt alone in the world too afraid to speak my truth.
